Professional, very communicative with multiple reminders, timely notifications about status when en route to the job, etc. The two brother team did great work (Chris and John), replacing a broken baseboard and installing curtain rods.

They painted the baseboard after, ensuring to tape everything off properly.

They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves, ensuring to pick up or vacuum any drywall dust or other debris from the jobs.

Initially we had a problem with our garage door and reached out to Precision Garage Door services for assistance. The rep appeared and from the onset, it was quickly obvious that the issue wasn’t going to be resolved and the end result was outside the purview of the Precision staff.
1. The garage door worked effectively until the day before Precision was contacted. The rep showed up and determined that the garage door opener was unable to effectively open the door.
I explained that it had worked effectively until the day we called Precision. (Effective for the last 12 years). The rep went to the garage door and repeatedly opened the door, slammed it to the floor as proof of the need to replace various parts to solve the problem.
2. A cost analysis was prepared for the cost of each part and the cost of warranty coverage for one and a half years. Another estimate was prepared with a warranty for five years. Again, the issue wasn’t related to the springs (yet it was related to the rep). “The mechanism wasn’t able to perform the function of opening the door. I reiterated that it had till then and noting was noted as having changed.
Decided to terminate the discussion and disagreement and look elsewhere.
I reached out to neighbors who had a proven track record and found Chris Gonzales and Silas who responded immediately and prepared to hit the ground running. From the onset to the completion of repair, they exhibited a professionalism that was impressive and seldom seen in today’s push the product to make the sale. The difference was significant and the result was superlative. I’ll not look elsewhere, nor need to with what took place . Calling Chris and sharing my concerns with Precision he set up a time the next day to fix my problem with the garage door. He and Silas showed up exceeded expectations and have a loyal customer from that point forward.
The Precision rep indicated that a $95.00 fee was due even having negated their ability to perform needed services.
Having the need to resolve an open garage door and to keep all my equipment safely locked, I compared Precision against Chris Gonzalez (Handyman Services) and now have a dependable and superlative person to call when the need arises.

Chris did a wonderful job fixing our gate on the second floor of our house which is attached to the wall so it can keep our children safe from falling down the stairs. He went out of his way to add longer screws (which he didn't need to do, but did) to make the gate more stable and secure. He fixed and painted the wall in the adjacent area around the gate which was coming off and needed serious repair. He hung up some curtain rods for us as well as fixing some marks on our walls. He also worked on our gazebo by tightening some bolts for us. Chris is the jack of all trades. He's very polite and professional. Gonzalez Handyman Services has been out to my home twice and both times I have been completely satisfied with all work done! The first visit, Chris installed a new bathroom cabinet, sink, and faucet to replace an old pedestal sink. His work was meticulous, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and on time! I had Gonzalez Handyman Services come over to take care of a bunch of "Honey Dos" that I'd been putting off. Christopher came over and installed an exterior gate, re-grouted part of a shower, caulked a difficult to reach tub and took down a bunch of old painter's tape. Even though the instructions were followed on the gate, the gate install was wobbly (the factory provided concrete screws were too small). Christopher came back with his own screws to stabilize the fence and added an anchor to the top, which did the trick!

Because of their great work on the first project, I had them come back and install two new garage door openers and an exterior light fixture. Garage door openers can be tricky to properly install and balance, but the job turned out great, including the programming multiple remotes and keypads. I was asked about my preferences for what buttons I wanted on the various remotes. The exterior light looks and works perfectly.

Overall, I'd highly recommend Gonzalez Handyman Services. They even swept out my garage before leaving!

Attention to detail and care for the job is getting extremely difficult to find when it comes to home repairs. Chris has both of those qualities. He took extreme care when prepping the work area to keep the other parts of the house clean. He walked softly and treated my house as if it was his own. Chris did such great work with the posts I had him take a look at some of the other projects that we were also doing inside the home.
