Chris did a wonderful job fixing our gate on the second floor of our house which is attached to the wall so it can keep our children safe from falling down the stairs. He went out of his way to add longer screws (which he didn't need to do, but did) to make the gate more stable and secure. He fixed and painted the wall in the adjacent area around the gate which was coming off and needed serious repair. He hung up some curtain rods for us as well as fixing some marks on our walls. He also worked on our gazebo by tightening some bolts for us. Chris is the jack of all trades. He's very polite and professional. Gonzalez Handyman Services has been out to my home twice and both times I have been completely satisfied with all work done! The first visit, Chris installed a new bathroom cabinet, sink, and faucet to replace an old pedestal sink. His work was meticulous, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and on time! I reached out to him again to ask about replacing a few light fixtures for us. Once again, he responded right away, set up a time to do the work and it was done in the same manner. I had Gonzalez Handyman Services come over to take care of a bunch of "Honey Dos" that I'd been putting off. Christopher came over and installed an exterior gate, re-grouted part of a shower, caulked a difficult to reach tub and took down a bunch of old painter's tape. Even though the instructions were followed on the gate, the gate install was wobbly (the factory provided concrete screws were too small). Christopher came back with his own screws to stabilize the fence and added an anchor to the top, which did the trick!

Because of their great work on the first project, I had them come back and install two new garage door openers and an exterior light fixture. Garage door openers can be tricky to properly install and balance, but the job turned out great, including the programming multiple remotes and keypads. I was asked about my preferences for what buttons I wanted on the various remotes. The exterior light looks and works perfectly.

Overall, I'd highly recommend Gonzalez Handyman Services. They even swept out my garage before leaving!

Chris came by and installed a 48" barn door. Before the visit we spoke on the phone, and he shared the process he was going to follow on the day of his visit. Attention to detail and care for the job is getting extremely difficult to find when it comes to home repairs. Chris has both of those qualities. He took extreme care when prepping the work area to keep the other parts of the house clean. He walked softly and treated my house as if it was his own. I originally called Gonzalez Handyman Services for post wraps and repairs. They did a great job on replacing the posts, wrapping and staining new posts. Chris did such great work with the posts I had him take a look at some of the other projects that we were also doing inside the home. We were doing remodeling work on a 1940s farm home in Fuquay and Chris was able to take on a lot projects for us. He leveled the floors in both the kitchen and bathroom and installed new LVP floors in both. He patched and fixed a lot of missing and broken drywall in the home and painted to match.
